Docs+ Two-way integration for Slack and Confluence requires two applications: Confluence and Slack. You will start with the Confluence app, which will lead you through the Slack app installation.
Installing the Docs+ Confluence App

- The easiest way to install the app is from Confluence Administration → Atlassian Marketplace → Find new apps
- After install, click Get Started (for Cloud) or Configure (for Data Center)
- Click Login on the Welcome to Docs+ page.
- Click Sign in with Slack to log into the Account Portal
- Select your Slack Workspace, then click Accept and Continue
- If prompted, enter the code you review from Slack via email
- Select Docs+ from the left-hand sidebar
- Click Add to Slack
- Select the correct Slack Workspace in the upper-right, then click Allow
- Click Let's create an Application Link next to “Already have the Confluence App installed?”
- Enter your Confluence URL (e.g. https://companyname.atlassian.net/wiki or https://confluence.companyname.com) and click Check URL followed by Click here for instructions just above the text box
- Click Copy to copy “https://account.nextup.ai” to your clipboard, then click Open Application Links in Confluence
- Click Create link
- Paste “https://account.nextup.ai” then click Continue and Continue
- Click Allow on the Welcome to Confluence page.
- Click Go to Docs+ home in Slack or switch to Slack and open the Docs Plus app.
- Now the final step - Connect your Slack User to your Confluence User: Click Connect Now and click Allow
